Aileen Wiswakarma - Cello

IN-PERSON

Aileen Wiswakarma began playing cello at age 8, starting lessons at Opus Community Music School. She studied under Randy Ward, Elizabeth Smith, Julia Wen, William Kass, and Zoi Tzu-Jou Yeh. She was introduced to chamber music during her childhood and still performs in a quartet with her sisters and father. Also, she regularly performs with the Opus Chamber Players.

Although her artistic interests led her to pursue graphic design and earn an AAS degree at Carroll Community College, she is a certified Suzuki teacher and a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas.
